The Trützschler Group is a German textile machinery manufacturer with its headquarter in Mönchengladbach, Germany. The family business is divided into the business units Spinning, Nonwovens & Man-Made Fibers and Card Clothing. Machines, installations and accessories for spinning preparation, the nonwovens and man-made fibre industry are produced in eight locations worldwide. In addition to four factories in Germany, Trützschler has production sites in China (Shanghai), India (Ahmedabad), USA (Charlotte) and Brazil (Curitiba) as well as a development location in Switzerland (Winterthur). Service centres in Bangladesh, Vietnam, Indonesia and Pakistan provide customer proximity in the important textile processing areas.[1]

  • Trützschler Spinning

Trützschler Spinning is the technological and market leader in spinning preparation for cotton and chemical fibres as well as blends. The product portfolio consists of blow room machines, draw frames, cards and combing machines. The location in Mönchengladbach serves as the headquarter of the company group. In addition to the factory in Mönchengladbach, spinning machines are produced in India, China and Brazil for the local customers.

  • Trützschler Nonwovens & Man-Made Fibers

Trützschler Nonwovens & Man-Made Fibers emerged through the acquisition of the companies Fleissner, Erko, Bastian and SwissTex. In the nonwovens segment Trützschler produces spunlace and thermobonding installations.[2] ützschlerMan-Made Fibers manufactures machines and systems for the production of BCF and industrial yarns.

  • Trützschler Card Clothing

Trützschler Card Clothing is located in Neubulach (Baden-Württemberg) and produces high performance clothing for cards and roller cards for the spinning and nonwovens sector. Thanks to the close cooperation within the Trützschler Group, the card wires are tailored to the Trützschler cards and roller cards. The range of products also includes card wires for machines made by other manufacturers.

The company was founded in 1888 in Crimmitschau, Saxony, by Paul Heinrich Trützschler. After the Second World War the company was re-established in 1948 in Odenkirchen (now a suburb of Mönchengladbach).[3]The first products being sold were tearing machines and carding willows. Later, the product range was expanded by cleaning and dust removal systems for cotton processing. In 1967 the first Trützschler card was introduced at ITMA Basel. The product range was complemented by draw frames in 1992 and combing machines in 2012. In addition the product lines Nonwovens, Man-Made Fibers and Card Clothing were developed step by step during the last years.[4] Today, the Trützschler Group has more than 3,000 employees worldwide with more than 750 employees working in the headquarter in Mönchengladbach
