Tu Mera Chaand[edit]

Tu Mera Chaand (English: You're Moon) is a 2018 Pakistani tele-film directed by Syed Muhammad Khurram, written by Muhammad Kiran Shah and produced by Babar Javed. The tele-film stars features Sakina Samoo as Nani and Azra Mohiuddin as Dadi. The film was release in June 2017 as part of Geo Entertainment's Eid programming.


A close-knitted family with two strong maternal figures, Nani and Dadi goes through a rough patch. With financial constraints and their grand daughters close to the age of marriage, the future appears bleak. But, all is about to change when their brother-in-law calls to inform that his son Ali is visiting Pakistan to get married to one of their grand daughters. Will Ali’s move put an end to their worries or double the troubles?

In 2017, director Syed Muhammad Khurram joined forces with Babar Javed to shoot the play written by Kiran Shah. This tele-film marks the appearance of brilliant female lead as Sakina Samoo and Azra Mohiuddin. The film was released[2] on 26th June 2018 on Geo Entertainment Network.
