UMS Group
UMS Group Inc. is a multinational consultancy corporation specialized in the energy market, headquartered in Parsippany, New Jersey, United States, founded by John M. Shearman, the current CEO.[1]
UMS Group operates in North America, Europe & Asia Pacific, Middle East and Australia. The two major areas of operation for UMS are management consultancy and asset management. Founded in the United States of America, they firm now has offices in Europe and Asia-Pacific (Manila). With the acquisition of Research Reports International, UMS expanded to the Philippines in 2011,[2] and in 2017, UMS Group expanded operation from their existing European hub to the UK.[3]
The firm’s primary area of operation is management consultancy, specializing in electric, water, gas and transportation asset management including decision support tools, performance benchmarking and improvement, culture change and organizational transformation.[4] Services are delivered through three disciplines; Consulting, Peer Group Studies and Tools & Data Services.
UMS Group Inc. is now also accredited as an Endorsed Assessor by the Institute of Asset Management.[5]
