Undying Love is an upcoming action adventure film directed by David Leitch, based on the graphic novel of the same name.
Plot[edit]
Ex-soldier John Sargent falls in love with a Chinese woman named Mei, who is one of the most powerful vampires of all times. In order to free Mei of her curse, must fight his way through the Hong Kong criminal underworld to kill the vampire who transformed her.
Production[edit]
On March 2012, it was announced that Alexandre Aja was in negotiations to direct an Undying Love film.[1] On November 27, 2012, The Hollywood Reporter posted that Joe Carnahan was in negotiations to replace Aja to direct the film for Warner Bros with Michael De Luca, Stephen L’Heureux, Chris Bender and J.C. Spink of Benderspink are producing.[2] On January 30, 2019, Studio 8 acquired the film rights, David Leitch signed on to direct the film with Tommy Wirkola writing the script and Jeff Robinov, Kelly McCormick, and L’Heureux will produce the film.[3]
