Inspiration[edit]

UnivJobs was co-founded by Charles Javelona and Khalil Stemmler, after they noticed that them and many of their friends experienced difficulty looking for work during school and after graduating. Upon realizing the problem they started UnivJobs while at school[6].[1] [7][4]

History[edit]

While at school, the pair came up with the idea for Univjobs in June of 2016.

By August of 2017, the basic features of the site were online and through getting feedback from employers and students a like, features were added to reflect the need for both audiences.[1][7]

The beta version of the website was officially launched on September 1 2017.[8][9]

On Jan 18 2018, Univjobs won the ICUBE Pitch Competis fr against teams from the ICUBE business incubator within the University of Toronto at Mississauga[9].[10][4][3]
