The untitled Jared Leto/Joker film is an American superhero film project in development as of 2018, based on comic book character of the same name set in the DC Extended Universe
Production[edit]
In June 2018, a film centered around Jared Leto's Joker entered early development. Leto will serve as an executive producer in addition to reprising his role as the Joker. Warner Bros. intends for the film to "pave the way" for all other Suicide Squad-related projects. Leto will also be involved with hiring the film's production crew.[1]
