Vampires on Tomato Juice (or VOTJ) is a German music band of a genre close to Nu metal founded in July 2011. It has produced two albums: Vampires on Tomato Juice and Fairytales.[1][2].

Musical style[edit]

General[edit]

In the genre category on VOTJ's Facebook page [3], they indicated "JUST LISTEN". The quite unclassifiable style of Vampires on Tomato Juice is characterized by a strong presence of guitars and bass, but especially choruses alternated with screams, which is the signature of the band.

Artistic influences[edit]

"Influences: A FUCKIN'LOT". This is what is written on the band's Facebook page. We note the enormous influence of System of a Down, as shown by numerous references to this group or Serj Tankian and Scars on Broadway on Facebook and Twitter. Trevor Le Doux, leader of the group, says himself that they are extending the style of SOAD.

Discography[edit]

VOTJ does not depend on a record label but directly publishes its music on online platforms, including YouTube [4], Deezer [5], Spotify[6] and Soundcloud [7]
