Varteks d.d.
Varteks d.d. is Croatian fashion, textile and clothing manufacturing company founded in 1918. It is renowned for its quality and fashion expression, with clothing styles widely accepted on Croatian and foreign markets. In its almost century-old tradition, Varteks d.d. changed and developed according to the needs of the market and customers, while maintaining their quality and recognizability. Varteks d.d. is a contract manufacturing partner for Hugo Boss (since 1994), Lindeberg (since 2003) and The Kooples (since 2008).

The beginnings of Varteks date back to 1918 when the Varazdin Textile Factory was founded.
The production of woolen yarn and fabric began in 1922, while in 1926 the production process expanded to the production of clothing, and in 1929 the first store was opened. The factory was operating until 1948 under the name of Textile Industry d.d. Varazdin or shortened Tivar. In 1972, the fashion brand Varteks International was created, and eleven years later Varteks started co-operating with Levi's®. In 1994, Varteks creates a new fashion brand Di Caprio, which soon becomes Varteks' main fashion brand.
