Vehicles

Vehicles is the 8th solo studio album by Bob McCarroll, released in 2018. Almost a year in the making, the album was self-recorded, produced and mastered.

McCarroll sings and plays all of the instruments for this project. In addition, all of the songs are original compositions except one, Comes Love, by Sam H. Stept & Charlie Tobias ©1939.

While McCarroll primarily considers himself a jazz guitarist and singer, Vehicles sees him take a different musical turn to a more rock-ish, Americana, and R&B feel...a process he started with his 2016 release "Sixty.

There are two available versions of the project: one version available from online music retailers includes the cover song Comes Love. The version available on the artist (http://www.bobmccarroll.com) does not include the cover song Comes Love but does include both an acoustic and electric version of one of his originals, The Ghost of You.

The cover image is of the family car - a 1968 Volkswagen Beetle purchased direct from the factory in Germany and brought to America. The car was sold in 2016. This picture was taken in 2016 before the sale.
