Vikings (Bangladeshi Band)

Vikings is a Bangladeshi band formed in late 90s by Tonmoy Tansen. They are one of the most popular rock and metal bands who helped developing heavy metal and hard rock.

History[edit]

Vikings was formed in late 90s Dhaka. They were the winner of Star Search in 1999.^[1] They released their debut album, "Jiboner Kolahol" in 2000. They soon became inactive for over a decade. After almost 12 years, they released their album as a soundtrack album, being the first instance in Bangladeshi rock scene.^[2] The band lineup has remained the same with Tanmoy on vocal, Setu on lead guitar, Babu on keyboard and Saimon on drums. Run Out is the fourth album by Vikings. The other three albums of the band are Jiboner Kolahol in 2000, Bhalobashi Jaare in 2002 and Din Joto Dukkho Toto in 2002.
