Vogue Institute of Art & Design (formerly Vogue Institute of Fashion Technology) is a professional Art & Design institute. The institute is a unit of Manduda Educational Trust, a charitable organization registered under the provisions of charitable trust vide no. 352-98/99. [1] Vogue Institute of Art & Design offers courses for undergraduate and post-graduate studies in the fields of Fashion, Gems and Jewellery, Interiors, Animation and Graphic designing.

Student Life[edit]

Vogue Institute of Art & Design hosts cultural events for its students to demonstrate their talent and creativity. The institute has an annual property named - Vogue Mystique Designer Awards where the students are given a platform to showcase their creativity among notable individuals [2] The institute organizes ethnic day programs, annual day and republic day events as a practice. The students also take part in social responsibility initiatives. On International Women’s Day, the students reached out to women inmates at Parapana Agrahara prison and taught them how to make jewellery and knit. [6]

With sustainable fashion being the most recent trend, students shared innovative ways to repair, reuse and redesign one’s wardrobe. [7]

The students also participate in fashion shows like Deccan Herald Metrolife Fashion Show to showcase designs and choreography[8]

Integrated Education[edit]

Vogue Institute of Art & Design has explored opportunities with international institutes like Cornel University, New York where their faculty members visited the campus at Apparel Park, Bangalore for their study tour to India. The students and international faculty members interact with each other regarding academics and recent trends in fashion and apparel technology. [9]

Placements[edit]

At Vogue Institute of Art & Design, brands like Raymonds, Shoppers Stop, Indian Myra, Tommy Hilfiger, Davanum Jewellers, Bombay Rayon and P N Rao visit the campus for recruitments.[10]
