Watson (nonprofit)
Watson, formerly known as Watson University, is a nonprofit organization based out of Boulder, Colorado[1]. Founded in 2013 by Eric Glustrom[2][3], Watson is a new learning model tailored for next-generation innovators, leaders, and social entrepreneurs.[4]
Watson helps students develop and advance solutions to the toughest challenges facing the world[5]. Students can come to Watson for either a semester-long business incubator [6] or earn a Bachelor's degree in Social Entrepreneurship from Lynn University through their partnership with the University as Watson Institute.[7]
At Watson, students, referred to as scholars[2], receive mentorship and training in ideation, rapid prototyping, fundraising, leadership and management, and team building. Mentors and entrepreneurs coach participants in the "Watson Lab" and via "Master Courses".[7]
