Welcome Red[edit]

Welcome Red is a short film directed by independent film maker Aditya Kumar and co directed by Dr Pooja Pandey Tripathi. This short film is based on menstrual cycle of women and society's reluctant attitue towards its acceptability as normal phenomena.

Plot[edit]

Welcome Red is a snapshot of a night spent at corporate team to meet their deadline. A team which spends days and sometime nights together, reacts awkwardly when one of the female member has her period. The film captures the stereotype, emotions and the reality surrounding nature's phenomena of monthly cycle among the educated class of India.

Film has been officially nominated in several film festivals as Cosmo Film Festival, Chennai, The Lift off sessions, Best Global shorts.
