Jacob Yates (born November 4, 2000), better known as X.O. CASH, is an American rapper, producer, songwriter, and actor. X.O. was first known for his lyrical talents over YouTube produers' beats. His single week spike of thousands of plays via Soundcloud led him to releasing mixtapes "Us" and "Fate". X.O.'s production skills remained a secret until Siya released her SIYAvsSIYA project, featured on Sisterhood of Hip Hop. His career in acting began in 2018 in several projects that have yet to be released.

His first EP, "Us", consisted of 16 main tracks with an additional bonus track. The project was rolled out in the summer of 2017 following X.O. Cash's first official single "ZIS". Featuring 10 artists, this project was more of a collaborative effort to showcase X.O.'s talents. The fourth track, "My Dinner", was the leading hit track from the set and made its way to dance videos across social media. The runner-up track, "No Bae", contains a smooth chorus from Nicole Steiger and received radio play for 2 weeks. The promotion for the album concluded with the release of a spooky spin off of Mickey Mouse as the music video for "Ca$h $hit'.

His next mixtape, "Fate", released with 12 tracks in March of 2018. Contradictory to his first set, "Fate" only contains one feature from Coca Vango. Promotion for the playlist commenced with the track "Everything Can Go', which he released on his birthday. The track was later accused of false copyright claims due to a license dispute, putting the progress on pause. Snippets and teasers began to surface the web again in January up until the final release of the EP. Songs "Advanced Placement", "Afterlife", and "Fall Out' were featured on Apple Music and Spotify for 3-4 weeks after the release and became the most popular X.O. Cash songs according to Apple and Spotify.
