Xavier Adsera, born Francisco Xavier Adsera Gebelli in Tarragona (Spain) in 1963. He is a businessman who is currently a founding partner and CEO of the FCA-regulated venture capital firm Adequita Capital Ltd., based in London (United Kingdom).

In 1992, Xavier was one of the founding partners of the Spanish independent investment bank Grupo Financiero Riva y Garcia, in which he was the CEO and head of the Corporate Finance department until 2005.

In 2005 he was apointed chairman of Natraceutical (today Reig Jofre), a leading company in the research and development of functional ingredients, active ingredients and nutritional supplements, publicly traded on the Spanish stock exchange. Xavier was also a relevant shareholder and a member of the board of directors in Natraceutical's listed parent company Natra, until 2013.

In 2011 Xavier moved to London to join the private equity firm Veremonte as the CEO. On behalf of Veremonte, Xavier was chairman of the hospitality and entertainment project BCN WORLD and director and member of the executive committee of Formula-e, the first electric car race championship.

In 2016 Xavier founded Adequita Capital Ltd in London, within which he is currently the chairman of Alder Fuels (USA), CEO of Uventures (USA), chairman of Dakia Digital (USA) and member of the board of directors of Oxford Leadership (UK).

Publications

Xavier co-authored the book “Principles of Corporate Valuation” and the CFA article “FEVA: A Financial and Economic Approach to Valuation”.

He also assisted in writing several research papers in the field of financial analysis, as well as a regular contributor to specialized financial market magazines.

Education

Xavier Adserà has a degree in Business Studies from ESADE (Barcelona, ​​Spain) and the Polytechnic University of Catalonia (Barcelona, ​​Spain) and a Master's in Business Administration and Management (MBA) from ESADE (1986).

Between 1992 and 1996 he participated in several specialization courses in Harvard Business School; Sloan School of Management (MIT – Boston) and Stern (New York University).
