Yellow Gangs[1] is an upcoming Kannada film written and directed by debutant Ravindra Parameshwarappa. Produced by Vibhinna Studios, the cast includes Balarajwadi, Natya Ranga, Dev Devaiah[2], Archana Kottige[3], Satya Ummataal, Pradeep Poojari, Vineeth Katti, Mallikarjuna Devaramane, Nandagopal, Ravi Gaja Jigani, Neenesam Dayanand, Arun Kumar, Sri Harsha, Sanchari Madhu, Praveen KB, Pavan Kumar K and others.

Filming began in October 2019, and the entire movie was shot in 30 days. The movie was shot across various locations of Bengaluru[4]. A number of vintage vehicles play a vital part in the film Another highlight of the film is the vehicles used by the characters. A 1974 Vintage Mercedes Benz 200D which plays an important role in the film has been used along with an old Mahindra Voyager, a modified Tata Xenon and a 1994 Mahindra jeep among other vintage cars.

Production[edit]

Written by Ravindra Parameshwarappa along with dialogues from Praveen Kumar (of Alidu Ulidavaru fame), the entire script was drafted in just over a month. Filming began in the month of October of 2019, and the entire movie was shot in 30 days. While Lokesh Hittalakoppa is the executive producer, the film has been co-produced by Manoj P, GMR Kumar and the alumni of JNV College, Shivamogga.

The movie was shot across various locations of Bengaluru. Another highlight of the film is the vehicles used by the characters. A 1974 Vintage Mercedes Benz 200D which plays an important role in the film has been used along with an old Mahindra Voyager, a modified Tata Xenon and a 1994 Mahindra jeep among other vintage cars.

The music is handled by Rohit Sower, a protégé of famed music director AR Rahman.

Marketing[edit]

The film garnered the interest of social media users through their intriguing minimalistic posters before the title release of the movie. Mr. Yogaraj Bhat[5] released the title poster for the movie on 12th October, 2020 and wished the team immense success.
