YouTube was first called Tune in Hook up and it was a dating website like Hot or Not, people started to figure out that the two websites are almost the same so YouTube dropped out because less people were using it. So Tune in Hook up (YouTube) was founded in 2005, one full year before Vimeo. Vimeo is a video sharing website like YouTube. Vimeo was founded in 2004 and the end YouTube might of found Vimeo at the websites early stages so YouTube took the idea made some good advertisements then made it a tiny bit better. My team members all think this is what really happened.
