Zephyr Airworks
Zephyr Airworks is the New Zealand-based operating company for Kitty Hawk Corporation's 'Cora' - a prototype air taxi that is certifying and testing in New Zealand.[1] It was registered with the New Zealand Companies Office in 2016.
Zephyr Airworks announced its entry into the commercial air taxi market in March 2018, noting that following a global search, New Zealand had been chosen as the location to develop and launch its air taxi service.[2]
The company has partnered with New Zealand Universities to develop graduate programmes for building the country’s engineering, manufacturing and IT skills.[3]
Zephyr Airworks was the first company announced by the New Zealand Government as one of its innovative partnerships (under the New Zealand Government's Innovative Partnerships programme).
