Zones, Inc., a privately owned Minority Business Enterprise is a technology service provide based in Auburn, Washington. With over 2 billion in sales in 2017 and 2400+ employees, Zones provides IT services, support, consulting, software and hardware products to enterprise businesses, retail stores, healthcare organizations, and Federal, state, and local government institutions. With multiple U.S. locations, Zones also supports U.S. based corporations in 80+ countries.
Multiple Zones was founded in 1986 as a technology catalog company. In April of 2001 it went through a name change to Zones, Inc. Zones, Inc was a publicly traded company (NASDAQ: ZONS) until 2008 when the Chairman and CEO Faroz Lalji purchased Zones through a merger acquisition. Moving from a parts and software supplier to a full services and staffing model, Zones purchased nfrastructure Technologies LLC, a New York-based managed services provider, in November 2016 to speed this process.
Zones OEM partnerships has led to multiple awards and accolades. Zones has also been a member and a significant supporter of the National Minority Supplier Development Council (NMSDC).
