Early Life[edit]
She was born on 20th February, 1966 as the daughter of Dr. N. Narayanan Nair who is an eminent jurist and founder of Kerala Law Academy, the first private law school in Kerala.
Education and Career[edit]
She completed her education from St. Teresa's College, Ernakulam, Government Women's College, Thiruvananthapuram and Kerala Law Academy. After completing LLB, LLM and PhD from Kerala Law Academy, she joined there as a a guest lecturer in 1988 and became permanent in 1994. She got promoted to a professor in 2007 and was appointed Principal in 2012.[1]
Controversies[edit]
She resigned from the post of Principal following a 29 day protest strikes from students organizations following allegations against her of ill-treatment.[2]
