ANTAEUS (Recording Artist-Producer)
Alexx Antaeus, a.k.a. Antaeus, (b. June 9, 1961 in Patras, Greece) is an Greek-American musician.[1] He is most well known for his five platinum albums in the Chill-out/EDM music genre.[2] He is also known by his peers as a voting member of The Recording Academy, the governing body of the Grammy Awards, for more than 25 years,[3] and promoting / supporting the reggae music industry globally. He is also the owner of a well-known restaurant in Jamaica.[4]

Antaeus started as a DJ/remixer in the late ‘80s.[5] Since then, he has worked for a artists such as Young M.C., Falco, The Rolling Stones, Earth, Wind & Fire, Lonnie Gordon, Malcolm McLaren, Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan, and Julian Marley.[6] His personal albums include Byzantine Meditation, World Prayer, zero4, and Chromasounds.[7]
Antaeus holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Music Industry, and in the past he has been a Billboard Magazine reporter and a panelist for the Winter Music Conference. His music has been used for TV commercials and compilations like Buddha Bar VIII.
