Abhishek Sharma (born Abhishek Sharma; 28 May 1991) is a veteran in the sports management industry. He is a sports management professional with adequate knowledge in the sports industry in India.[1].
He started Athletes Today sports management company in 2017, a agency which is working into areas such as player representation, sports marketing sponsorships, branding and grassroots development[1] [2] [3] [4]
Sports agent career[edit]
Sports management is a lesser-known and unexplored career choice but Abhishek Sharma, who also happened to be a decent athlete during his school & college years, decided to improve the dwindling conditions of the sports management of athletes in less popular sports at that time [1]. He has a various set of skills that has helped to work in different sectors of sports in India including sporting events, grassroots development for sports, sports infrastructure and athletes representation [2]. He wants to focus not only on the athletes, but also on the various verticals associated with the sport.
