Adam McCarthy is a Canadian politician and teacher in Ontario, Canada. He ran for Waterloo City Council in the 2003 and 2018 Waterloo Region municipal elections.[1].

McCarthy received a master's degree in drama and theatre arts, a bachelors in education, a bachelors in history, and a Diploma in Radio and Television Broadcasting[2][3].
In 2003, he began teaching at Eastwood Collegiate Institute in Waterloo, Ontario[3].
Politics[edit]
McCarthy ran for Ward 1 councillor for Waterloo City Council in 2003, losing the race[2].
In the 2018 Waterloo region municipal elections, McCarthy ran for Ward 1 councillor again, receiving 482 votes and losing to Sandra Hanmer[4]
