Battle of Rakhsi 1118 — David IV battle with Seljuks in Rakhsi (Aras) river. David IV heard from Nakhiduri the story of Seljuks invasion in Javakheti and killing of Beshken Jakeli. The king, despite the opposition of some nobles, set off with his army and fought the Seljuk Turks standing at the edge of Rakhsi. The Georgian army defeated the enemy - many were killed, many were captured and a lot of booty was taken.
