Career

TXT

Yeonjun debuted on March 5, 2019, along with the other members of TXT with the album 'The Dream Chapter :Star'. The group gained fast recognition, and their music video "Crown" became the most viewed K-Pop boy group debut video within 24 hours with over 14.5 million views on YouTube[5]. On April 9, 2019, TXT announced their first-ever overseas tour, a six-show debut showcase in the United States encompassing six American cities—New York City, Chicago, Los Angeles, Dallas, Orlando, and Atlanta—over the course of about two weeks, from May 9 to 24. The tickets were sold out in less than 10 minutes. On August 8, BigHit announced that they planned to release their second album in August, but due to Yeonjun's back pain and member Soobin being diagnosed with infectious conjunctivitis, so the release was rescheduled to September, but then on August 20, it was revealed that members Huening Kai and Taehyun were also diagnosed with conjunctivitis, so they changed the release date to October.

On October 21, 2019, TXT released the album 'The Dream Chapter Magic', and on January 15, 2020, TXT made their Japanese debut with the single "Magic Hour," which includes Japanese versions of the songs “Run Away,” “Crown,” and “Angel or Devil.”
