David Chen (ARML Winner)

From EverybodyWiki Bios & Wiki

David Chen was the top individual scorer of the American Regions Mathematics League (ARML) in 2019. His win was particularly notable because he not only won individually, but was a member of the highest placing team that year (Thomas Jefferson A1) [1], becoming the first person to do both since Gabriel Carroll in 2001. Additionally, David's win was notable because he was the sole contestant to obtain a perfect score on the individual round, becoming the first contestant to be the sole perfect scorer and also be a member of the winning team at any one year at ARML [2]. Therefore, becoming the sole perfect scorer and being a member of the winning team has been informally referred to as "Pulling a David Chen", or simply "Pulling a Chen".
