deVOL Kitchens is a kitchen furniture manufacturer founded in 1989 [1] by Paul O’Leary and Phil deVries, two Loughborough University graduates.[2]
The company employs 160 staff and is based at Cotes Mill, a converted 16th Century water mill in Leicestershire, England.[3]
TV[edit]
In August 2021,Magnolia Network launched[4] TV series 'For The Love of Kitchens'[5], documenting deVOL Kitchens. It was released on Discovery+ in the UK.
Legal[edit]
In 2017, deVOL Kitchens defended a design infringement claim opened by Neptune (Europe) Limited in 2015.[6] It is now a textbook case study in the legal effects of changes to the definition of “design” in the Intellectual Property Act 2014.[7]
