Donny Anderson (singer)

Donny Anderson is a Canadian singer and songwriter. Supported by the Songwriters Association of Canada, Anderson released a single in May of 2020 called Lovin' You which features legendary Canadian artist Divine Brown.[1][2][3][4] Lovin' You became the 6th most active indie song at radio for the week of June 22nd, 2020.[5][6]

Anderson's vocals were featured on Rachel Platten's US Gold selling Wildfire (Rachel Platten album),[7] and he collaborated on Empire (Made of Gold) with European artist Humain released on Spinnin' Records.[8][9] He is a Canadian Idol (season 5) finalist[10] and has toured worldwide with rock icon Alannah Myles[11][12][13][14].

Anderson has found songwriting success in having his songs recorded by other artists, including Wesley MacInnes' comeback single House on Fire[15][16][17], Sons of Daughter's single What If We Stay[18], and Sebastian Olzanski's Summer 16, which climbed the charts in 10 countries.[19]
