Expo is a brand of dry-erase whiteboard markers owned by Newell Brands. The markers are available in many different colors and types. The company also produces accessories such as whiteboard cleaning spray, erasers, cleaning wipes and more.[1]

History[edit]

In 1976 the Expo brand was formed, owned by Sanford at the time[2]. In 1986, the Expo II line was released, (Later renamed to Expo 2 in the 1990s). the Expo 2 line used Alcohol instead of Methyl Ethyl Ketone as a solvent for the ink. this line was eventually turned into the normal Expo line, with the old original being renamed to "Original Ink."
