The Fig the Common fig or the Fig kariki (Latin: Ficus carica) is a species of plant in the genus *Ficus* of the family Moraceae. It is grown in most regions of the Arab world and the Mediterranean basin, but its habitat extends from Turkey to Pakistan/Northern India.
