English: Jericho, NY and vicinity from the air in 2020, looking towards the east from a plane on approach to LaGuardia Airport. The Long Island Expressway (I-495) and the Northern State Parkway are visible snaking their diagonally west-east in this image, as the two wide, parallel highways, from center-left to bottom-right. The concurrent section of NY 106/NY 107 is shown running north-south, diagonally across the bottom half of the picture from left to right – including its cloverleaf interchange with Jericho Turnpike (NY 25) towards bottom-center, adjacent to the iconic Milleridge Inn. In the far distance is the hamlet of Syosset; the hamlet of Jericho is in the foreground. The large development towards the center of the image, to the north (left) of I-495, is part of the large Birchwood at Jericho development; George A. Jackson Elementary School is shown as the large school within the development, at the center of the image. Hicksville and Plainview are seen to the south (right, in the image) of I-495. In the far distance, at the very top of the image, is Suffolk County.
