Nanette Medved-Po (Founder)

Founded in 2012 by Nanette Medved-Po, GenerationHope, Inc. is the first Philippine company to donate 100% of its profits to education through the building of public school classrooms in partnership with the Department of Education. With its flagship product, "Hope in a Bottle" water, HOPE democratizes nation-building by providing the public with easy and sustainable ways to invest in social good.

HOPE is conscious of its impact on the environment. In 2018, they put out an audacious goal to try to process safely 100% of their plastic footprint so that they do their part to make sure that post-consumer plastic does not wind up in oceans or in our food chain. Together with its sustainability partner, the Plastic Credit Exchange, they are the first Filipino company to achieve Plastic Neutral Status.

HOPE believes that a consumer’s purchase represents a vote for the kind of world they want. It is the first Filipino company to become a Certified B Corporation, and joins a global community of businesses that meet the highest standards of social and environmental performance, public transparency, and legal accountability to balance profit and purpose. HOPE continuously aims to demonstrate the power of Business For Good to make material and sustainable social impact.
