It is a protected nature reserve and is known for its pristine beaches and abundant wildlife.[1] The island is a popular destination for snorkeling, bird-watching, and other nature-based activities. Access to Goat Island is limited, and visitors must obtain a permit in advance in order to protect the island's fragile ecosystem.[1]
