Synopsis[edit]
In a small agricultural community in Oregon, where lines are drawn between Mexican and Caucasians, a talented but racially segmented high school soccer team struggles to overcome their personal issues and come together as a team. They have to navigate the deportation of a star player’s father and the town’s outsize expectations and then prioritize their commitment to each other on the soccer field in order to win their division and secure a coveted spot in the state playoffs.
