The Houston Interactive Aquarium & Animal Preserve is a for profit aquarium located in Humble, Texas, United States, that opened to the public May 10, 2021. It is houses dozens of different species of reptiles, exotic birds, mammals and marine animals. The aquarium is owned and operated by Crysty Covino the wife of Ammon Covino the former owner of the San Antonio Aquarium and Austin Aquarium.[2]
Controversies and violations[edit]
In May 2019 the Houston Zoo filed a cease and desist letter requiring the Houston Interactive Aquarium to cease using both of its current business names in its operations due to customer confusion.[3]
