International Online Climate Activist Network (IOCAN):[edit]

The organization was established to bring climate workers from around the world to a common online platform. The Network will create a database of activist around the world and build up a common platform to exchange knowledge and expertise. Established in April 2019 to promote inter-communication, relationships and collaboration among climate workers.

The purpose of the network:[edit]

  • Climate workers can easily share experiences and knowledge with each other.
  • One climate worker is at risk so that others can stand by in a short time.
  • So that online training and conference can be organized easily.
  • Climate workers in one country can easily absorb the strategy and culture of the movement in another country.
  • Be vocal about the balanced use of climate funds
  • Assist climate workers in raising funds
  • To co-operate with local governments in creating international pressure to protect the climate

Currently, thousands of climate workers from more than a hundred countries are connected to this network. Mehedi Hasan, a climate activist from Bangladesh, established this network.
