Jarvis Moore

Jarvis Kierone Moore. (/; born November 6, 1989) is an American football running back who is a free agent. He played college football at Iowa Central Community College(2009) & Stephen F. Austin State University, and was undrafted after attending NFL Super Regional Combine in 2012.

Biography[edit]

Born and raised in Elkhart, Indiana. At the age of 11 moved to Baytown, Texas, Moore attended Robert E. Lee High School in Baytown, and played high school football for the Lee Ganders. He started all four years as starting running back for the Ganders. Moore was also on the Robert E. Lee High School track team, where he competed as a sprinter all four years in high school. Moore unfortunately had a season ending leg injury his senior year in high school.

Career[edit]

Moore was undrafted in the 2012 NFL Draft. Moore was moving from team tryout to tryout before signing on with the Carolina Panthers practice team. Due to the depth chart Moore never got a chance to see action as the fourth running back behind veteran Johnathan Stewart, Fozzy Whittaker, and Cameron Artis- Payne. After a month, he was waived to make room for another position player. Following being waived, Moore worked out for CFL's Edmonton Eskimos, Ottawa Redblacks and Calgary Stampeders. With the birth of his 2nd son, Moore decided not to pursue football the upcoming season.

Personal Life[edit]

In June 2012, he fathered a son named Liam Moore. In May 2016, he fathered a son named Mason Moore
