JETSURF Motorized Surfboard is a product of MSR Engines s.r.o. and it is a surfboard with a combustion engine inside. It’s the first of the next generation of Jetboard, which uses a lightweight chassis in combination with a light, powerful combustion engine. JetSurf is the fastest and lightest motorized surfboard on the planet.

History

Development

The first attempt to create a light and powerful jetboard came in 2007 when CEO and main developer Martin Šula started to use his experience from motorsport (Moto GP, RedBull Air Race, Formula BMW) to develop the JetSurf.
After 2 years of hard work, Šula’s development team had its first working prototype which was able to work not just in fresh water, but also in salt water – which was the main challenge, to create an engine which would be salt water resistant – but he wasn't 100% satisfied with the product, so he didn't launch it to the market and just tested it in different conditions all around the world.

Launch to the market

In 2010 MSR Engines launched the first ever lightweight jetboard to the market, starting production and selling the board to customers.
