Orkhan Bayramov Etibar — Orkhan Bayramov is an Azerbaijani-Canadian film director, screenwriter, and producer.[1]
Early Life
Orkhan Bayramov was born on April 15, 1985, in the village of Boladi, located in the Lankaran District of Azerbaijan. From 1991 to 2002, he completed his secondary education at Boladi Village Secondary School No. 1, named after martyr Nahir Akhundov. He served in the military from 2003 to 2004.
Between 2005 and 2010, he studied Finance and Credit at the Azerbaijan State College of Finance and Economics under the Azerbaijan State University of Economics. From 2010 to 2014, he pursued a degree in Film Directing at the Azerbaijan State University of Culture and Arts.
From 2009 to 2014, Bayramov worked as an instructor at the Azerbaijan Capoeira Federation while actively engaging in creative work.
His artistic career began in the early 2010s. Between 2010 and 2013, he founded and worked under the Yarasa Film production label, writing and directing several short films including Turn of Death, Turn of Death 2, and The Wallet. While affiliated with the Azerbaijan Capoeira Federation, he co-wrote and directed two additional short films — Ecological Mission and Turn of Death 3 — in collaboration with Sport Service Company.
In 2015, he rebranded his production company from Yarasa Film to Yarasa Art Pictures, marking the beginning of his professional film career. Between 2015 and 2017, he directed his first feature-length fiction film, The Game (Bir Zamanlar Şəkidə), a co-production between Azerbaijan and Turkey, based on a screenplay by Eren Azak.
"Kill Kill" The short film titled "Kill Kill" won the "Judges Award – Drama" at the NAFCo (Northern Appalachian Film Collective) Winter Film Festival.[2]
He is married and has one son.

The documentary Love Journey (Eshq Səferi) won an award at the 3rd International Arbaeen Photos and Videos Award, held in Tehran in 2017.[24] Beynəlxalq Film Festivalının qalibi olub.[25]
The short film Kill Kill won the Judges Award – Drama at the NAFCo Winter Film Festival, held from February 26–28, 2021. The festival covered multiple U.S. states including New York, Pennsylvania, Ohio, Maryland, and Virginia. The competition featured over 1,800 film submissions from 93 countries.[2]
The short film Ecological Mission was officially selected for screening at the Zeitimpuls Shortfilm Festival and the Lahore International Children's Film Festival on March 4, 2021. Two days later, on March 6, the short film Kill Kill was named a Semi-Finalist in the short drama category at the Gold Coast International Film Festival, held in New York, USA. The film was shot using a timelapse style.[3]
The short film Run Run was also selected as an Official Selection at The Lift-Off Sessions on March 6, and later at the First-Time Filmmaker Sessions on March 11.[3]
