Param Singh MBE (Punjabi: ਪਰਮ ਸਿੰਘ) (born in London) is a British executive and community activist.[1]
Career[edit]
He is a spokesperson for City Sikhs which is a charity with 7000 members and which represents the interests of professional Sikhs [2]
He followed in his grandfather's footsteps by studying Mechanical Engineering at the University of Sheffield.[3]
Awards and recognition[edit]
In the 2019 New Year Honours, Singh was appointed a MBE of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire. [4] [5]
In addition he has received the following awards recognising his community work:
- 'Inspiring Individual' award at the Faith and Belief Community Awards from the Lord-Lieutenant of Greater London, Sir Kenneth Olisa OBE in 2018 [6] [7]
- Nominated for the AAA Gold Award for Achievement in Community Service in 2012 [8]

Personal life[edit]
In 2013 he became the first Sikh to appear on the dating show Take Me Out [11] [12]
