Partha Sarathi Manna is an Indian director. He is known for his works like KITE…The Messenger, LOC…a playground, OSKAR_(_2018_).
Life and Career[edit]
Early Life: Partha was born on 2nd August, 1985 in a small village of East Medinipur, West Bengal (INDIA). During childhood, Partha was a shy and a reticent child. His mother Protima Manna is a housewife and his father Bikash Chanda Manna is a farmer working in their own piece of land. In spite of being part of a non-filmy family, Partha since the age of 16 began to take keen interest in the world of cinema.

Partha Sarathi Manna is an Indian film directorknown for his work in Bollywood and Tollywood. He is mostly known for his critically acclaimed short films, ’Kite the Messenger‘ and ‘LOC…A Playground’. He was shortlisted for the JIO Filmfare Short Film awards 2016judged by the Ace Director Kabir Khan
He has marked his Bengali feature film debut with the Comedy Drama Period film ‘Oskar’ starring Priyanshu Chatterjee, Aparajita Auddy, Saheb Bhattacharya and Kharaj Mukherjee slated to release early next year. Partha’s had a humble beginning in Bollywood. After several months of struggle, his first step towards the Film Industry was being an assistant of many directors in various Hindi Film Projects like “Payback”, “Vikalp”, “Thanks Maa”, “Loot” etc & also few Commercial Advertisement, Daily soaps, Telefilms done by him. Partha being a fast learner quickly mastered the robes of film making. His hard work and dedication made him popular among the directors and producers he worked with. Slowly and steadily he started getting opportunity as an Independent Director in few Short Films like “Loc...a play ground”, “Kite...the Messenger”, “Punish Me Die”, “A Toy Gun”, “G” etc. among this “ Loc... A play ground” won 9 awards in various short film festivals. “Kite... The Messenger” has already earned a lot of name and has received numerous of awards in various International festivals. In the year 2016, his most ambitious bold docu-drama “Ghanta Reservation” has already released and has achieved a cult status among the youth and all the social networking sites. Beside this, Partha is also working on few of his own independent Bollywood projects as well with big banners and studios. His hard work shows that a creative man is motivated by the desire to achieve, not by the desire to beat others.
