Paul Sloane (born 1950) is a British speaker and author. He has written books on lateral thinking, innovation and leadership, some co-authored with Des MacHale. He speaks on these topics and has given two Tedx talks.[1][2]
Sloane gained a degree in Engineering at Trinity Hall, Cambridge. He worked for IBM before becoming UK Managing Director at Ashton-Tate and VP International at Mathsoft. He is noted for popularizing the Situation puzzle also known as the lateral thinking puzzle. He has written many books of these puzzles.[3]
