Peter McPoland is a Singer/Songwriter based out of Rhode Island. While growing up, Peter was involved in theatre. One company he was involved in was Class Act Productions. He joined Class Act at the age of 8. One of his first productions was *Les Misérables* School Edition where he played the supporting character Gavroche. While he grew up through his teens he continued theatre with Class Act and he was very involved with his school theatre. He was a lead in his junior high plays and then when he continued into high school he was highly involved with improv. While he was at high school he played notable roles such as Romeo from *Romeo and Juliet* and Prince Eric from *The Little Mermaid*. During his senior year, he and his closest friend Landon Laney formed a band called Westend which changed names to Rosedown then to Peter and The Haps. The band won a competition in Ohio for best high school band. The band retired on August 2nd, 2019 due to Peter leaving to move to Rhode Island to pursue music. He moved in with his uncle who did plumbing for an acting agent and that led to Peter playing the lead in *Footloose* at the Kennedy Center. Peter’s following grew significantly on Instagram from 5 thousand followers to 21 thousand in the span of 3 months. He is now always working on songs to release on Spotify.
