Pierluigi Mancini artistic name Manciniart is an artist who creates sculptures with various abstract and geometric shapes. The materials used are mainly metals, brass, bronze and stone. Born in Rome on 7 July 1964. From an early age he approached sculpture by building small objects with different materials. The passion for art was also fueled by the city where he lived, Rome, managing to admire the painting and the wonderful sculptures in the city and in the Vatican museums. After completing his specialization in geometry, he manages to fulfill the dream of coming to Australia, of traveling to different countries and learning about the art and materials of other peoples. In Sydney he meets the architect Dino Burattini and works together with him in his studio. This meeting is fundamental for his art, which evolves towards monumental sculpture. In 2021 he won the Gold Art Award in Seiko exhibition Tokyo Metropolitan Art Museum 東京都美術館, Tōkyōto Bijutsukan in Tokyo, Japan. He works and participates in various exhibitions of his sculptures in both Japan and Italy.
