Brief history of Shagiya

The Shagiya name was derived from a man named Shagiya, who had never been head of the village but was from Udu, and they immigrated and lived in the village while some fled from the place.

The first head of the village was Jankaro, then followed by Ango, but he was very sick at the time and he left for another village, leaving his crown. The villagers decided to choose another head, which was Shaho, but after Ango got well he returned to Shagiya village. The next king of the village after Shaho was Muhammed Bisalla and he was the head of the village until 2022.
