Akash Sharma (born 31 May 1996),[1] better known as Sharma Akash, is an Indian lyricist, writing predominantly Bhojpuri and Hindi songs in Bhojiwood, Bollywood.
Biography
Sharma Akash, officially named Akash Sharma, but commonly known by his nickname Akash, was born near Allahabad in Kasturba Gandhi Hospital, Uttar Pradesh. He earned a Bachelor of Commerce degree at the Din Dayal University in Gorakhpur. To pursue a career as a lyricist, he moved to Mumbai in 2017.[2]
Career
Sharma started his career as a lyricist in 2018 with the album Jaikara Laga La (2018).[1] In the following years he emerged as a leading lyricist in Bollywood, Bhojiwood, writing the lyrics for over 50+ Bhojpuri albums (100+ songs). According to Sharma, his inspirations have been lyricists Krishna Bedardi and Vinay Bihari.
