Shock Corridor is a an experimental rock, trip-hop band hailing from Melbourne. The band was created in 2022, under the name Wake in Fright, consisting of the original five members, George Miller, Ari Guthrie, Henry Rawling, Paddy Walter, and Joe Nossal. A conversation between lead-singer George Miller, and close friend Saskia Permezel in 2023, lead to the band adding strings into their sound with her joining the band. The name was changed for a second time to Deep City Dames, before being settled on what is now Shock Corridor.
Their EP debut Im Afraid I've Lost My Way was self-released in 2023.
Performing the Night Cat with rock artists Floodlight in April of 2024, gained them further popularity. They've since performed at iconic Melbourne venues such as The Tote, Max Watts, The Espy, and Melbourne's Rising Festival.
