Skibidi toilet

From EverybodyWiki Bios & Wiki
(Redirected from Skibidi Toilet)

Skibidi toilet is a web series released on Youtube, created by Source Filmmaker animator Aleksey Gerasimov, also known as DaFuq!?Boom!.[1] The series' narrative follows a war between four factions: The Cameramen, Speakermen, and TVmen, who are all allied, fighting against another faction, the Skibidi toilets.[2] It has become a popular internet meme online as each entry quickly garners millions of views.

Series

The first entry to the series, simply titled skibidi toilet, was released on Youtube Shorts on the 7th of February, 2023.[3] The sequel to this was released 10 days later on the 17th of February, titled skibidi toilet 2. Every entry into the series followed this format, being titled "skibidi toilet", followed by the entry number. All entries were posted on Shorts, until skibidi toilet 39, which was first posted as a full video before shortly being reposted on Shorts with a few variations. Since then, all entries of the series have been posted as a full video, before being reposted onto Shorts. To be posted on Shorts, each entry to the series needed to be under a minute as a requirement.[2]

Popularity

The series has very quickly garnered attention and has become a phenomenon.[according to whom?] A contributor to the success of the series is the music being played. In every episode, the Skibidi toilets sing the lyrics to the song Dom Dom Yes Yes by Bulgarian artist Biser King,[2] which was a popular meme before Skibidi toilet even existed. However, the music is always mashed up with another song. Most commonly, this other song is Give It to Me by Timbaland. However, mashups have also been done with Bloody Mary by Lady Gaga and The Imperial March by John Williams. 'Give It to Me' became widely popular due to the Zoolander meme online, which shortly preceded the creation of the series. The Speakermen protagonists also play the song Everybody Wants to Rule the World by Tears for Fears.

The series' success may be attributed to its similarity to older Youtube content. Content made with Garry's Mod and/or Source Filmmaker were popular in the 2010s. Satirical videos of Half-Life or Team Fortress 2 characters were also animated using Source Filmmaker. The Skibidi toilet series was also made using Source Filmmaker.

DaFuq!?Boom! has gained millions of subscribers and billions of views since he started the series.[4]

Storyline

It is unknown when and where the series takes place, although human characters are briefly seen and the series seems to take place in an urban environment.

The Skibidi toilets are what appear to be regular toilets, with the exception of a head with an elongated neck within the bowl of the toilet. They are all capable of gliding quickly across the ground. They commonly attack their enemies by headbutting or biting them. The sizes can vary. Some Skibidi toilets are the size of an average dog, and some are as tall as buildings. Although the Skibidi toilets are dangerous, they can be neutralized by flushing the toilet, making the head of the skibidi toilet disappear.

The origins or purpose of the Skibidi toilets is unknown. So far, they are seen to be hostile towards anyone they encounter that is not one of their own. They are also highly intelligent, being able to create parasitic Skibidi toilets, and quickly adapting to new adversaries on a large scale. They appear to be completely unified in their goal of annihilating the protagonists of the series, and in taking over the world.[2]

The origins of the Cameramen, Speakermen and TVmen are also unknown. These characters are humanoids with their heads replaced with cameras, loudspeakers, or televisions, respectively. Whether these men are cybernetic, organic, or cyborgs, is unknown. They are also predominantly male, with only two exceptions.[clarification needed] These factions seem to be independent, but for the conflict against the Skibidi toilets, have allied together. The first faction to appear were the Cameramen, who seemed to be the initial response to the Skibidi toilets' attack. The Speakermen joined later, while finally being followed by the TVmen. Strangely, the TVmen are capable of teleportation. They can also use their television heads to hypnotize Skibidi toilets.

Mobile Game

An official mobile game, titled 'Skibidi War - Toilets Attack' was released by Influencer Apps LLC on the 23rd of June, 2023.[5] It is available to play on the App Store and on Google Play. The game is a simple shoot'em up, where the player character is given a gun to attack skibidi toilets. The player can upgrade their character using coins dropped by skibidi toilets.
