John Appleby (politician)

John Christopher Appleby is a candidate for the Liberal Democrats in the Borough of North Tyneside. At the time of his parliamentary candidacy for Tynemouth in 2010, he was employed as a lecturer at Newcastle University and was a resident of Battle Hill Ward.
He has stood for election in Killingworth Ward (2008), the Preston Ward by-election (2009),[1] for Tynemouth constituency in the 2010 General Election, Whitley Bay Ward (2011), Monkseaton South Ward (2012) and for Mayor of North Tyneside (2013).[2]
