Dr. Sudhir S. Mehta (Born 5th June 1969) is Pune based serial entrepreneur, Chairman & Managing Director of Pinnacle Industries[1][2], India’s leading automotive products and specialty vehicles company. He is also the Founder & Chairman of EKA[3], a commercial electric vehicles and technology company.
He is also the current president of Mahratta Chamber of Commerce, Industries and Agriculture (MCCIA)[4] [5], an Indian business advocacy and networking group established in 1934. His term ends in September 2022.
Sudhir Mehta is also the lead & coordinator of the Pune Platform for Covid-19 Response (PPCR)[6], a voluntary group of businessman, politicians, experts and other citizens of Pune, that was instrumental in helping contain the spread of the coronavirus and extend much needed assistance to the city's medical infrastructure during the 1st, 2nd & 3rd Wave of the pandemic.[7]
Education
Sudhir Mehta holds a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science & Economics from Depauw University USA and an MBA in Finance & International Business from the University of Chicago, USA.
He was conferred with the Degree of Doctor of Letters Honoris Causa (D.Litt.) by the Ajeenkya DY Patil University (ADYPU) in 2022.[8] [9]
