Sudhir S. Mehta (Born 5th June 1969) is a Pune based businessman, and the Chairman & Managing Director of Pinnacle Industries[1][2], India’s leading automotive seating and Interiors Company.
He is also the current president of Mahratta Chamber of Commerce, Industries and Agriculture (MCCIA) [3][4][5][6] an Indian business advocacy and networking group established in 1934.
Sudhir Mehta also the lead & coordinator of the Pune Platform for Covid-19 Response (PPCR) [7]a pro-bono group of prominent business, industry, and start-up leaders which over the period of the COVID19 pandemic has been instrumental in helping contain the spread of the virus and extend humanitarian assistance to those in need. As the demand for oxygen and ventilators skyrocketed amid the surge in Covid-19 caseloads, Pune Platform for Covid-19 Response (PPCR), launched ‘Mission Vayu’ [8] one of the largest industry-led initiatives to support the healthcare infrastructure and tackle the pertaining oxygen shortages. Mission Vayu arranged for procurement and donation of BiPaPs and oxygen concentrators for the worst affected areas and hotspots across the country.
Suhir Mehta was the Chairman of the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) - Western Region for 2016-17 [9]
In 2018 he was conferred ‘The Super Entrepreneur of the Year’ [10] award by Machinist Magazine (Times Group Publication) and in 2021 the Madhya Pradesh Innovation Leadership Award for his contribution to the Indian manufacturing sector.
